Communications Committee
Welcome to the Communications Committee webpage.
Our mission: Create and execute informative,
compelling internal and external communications
campaigns that educate, motivate and activate
our green building community members. We
also create a rewarding environment in which
our committee members can learn, shine and
grow. If
you have a passion for green building and
would like to be a part of our volunteer team,

Activities:
- Stay current on the needs of our diverse
membership through surveys and feedback
- Balance evolving needs of our current
audience while spreading our green building
message to new audiences
- Develop messaging strategy consistent
with the maturity levels of LEED product
portfolio
- LEED NC, EB, CI, C&S
- LEED NC Applications – Schools,
Retail, Health Services
- LEED H, ND
- Create credible, compelling messaging
that communicates the value of green building
appropriate to each strategic audience
segment
- Execute the message through integrated
communication channels
- Internal – website, Colorado
Building Green online newsletter, email
bulletins
- External – Public Relations,
press releases placed articles, advertisements,
links with like-minded organizations,
events, conferences, presentations,
direct mail
- Support other Chapter Committees with
message development and execution and
promote Chapter events
- Volunteers Needed: Graphic Designers,
Article Authors, Marketing Communications
and Public Relations Professionals.
