USGBC Colorado has three local organizing committees for USGBC Colorado - called Branches - overseen by Branch Steering Committees which are made up of local committed volunteers. Branches work in local communities to provide education, outreach, and networking opportunities around green building and sustainable development.
Branch Steering Committee Elections
Each summer, all three Branches have elections for open positions on their steering committees. Branch Steering Committee members commit to volunteering for one to two years, and work in local communities to provide education, outreach, and networking opportunities around green building and sustainable development.
Branch Steering Committee members must be current members of USGBC Colorado. In addition, steering committees typically meet once a month to oversee education and other events. Specific steering committee members chair or co-chair work groups focused on education, membership, advocacy, and communications.
Each Branch is always looking for volunteers to serve on the various committees - please browse through their respective pages and see what might interest you.
