ColoradoBiz Planet Profit Report

ColoradoBiz is expanding the Planet Profit Report to Western United States. Planet Profit Report has been published as a quarterly section in the ColoradoBiz magazine since early 2007. With the expanded distribution the report will be circulated to stakeholders from Texas north to the Dakotas and all points west. The editorial mission of the Planet Profit Report is to engage the voices of business, R&D, and economic development in a dialogue about energy and economic sustainability – with a focus on the western United States. Business voices will comprise the primary editorial voices of the publication – including those transforming the physical and social landscape of the West into a more sustainable environment. The report will also include coverage of “green” business and sustainability at a regional level. Current information is most often national in scope, or hyper-local. But we think a regional platform is needed to better frame the discussion about sustainable development. The West’s common issues – from water challenges to energy opportunities – will frame the discussion in the Planet Profit Report.
USGBC Colorado is partnering with ColoradoBiz to assist with the publication’s mission. As an important sponsor of Planet Profit Report, we’re excited to do what we can to promote its objectives. Editorial sources from industry, energy, education, and economic development are invited to participate in a region-wide dialogue about sustainable development.
