Living Environments Project
The Living Environments Project is a project initiated through the Institute for the Built Environment at Colorado State University, with the support of the U.S. Green Building Council – Colorado Chapter. The Institute for the Built Environment, a multidisciplinary research institute whose mission is to foster stewardship and sustainability of the built environment through research and an interdisciplinary educational forum within Colorado State University’s College of Applied Human Sciences, is developing a visionary guide for creating living environments. This guide, called LENSES (Living Environments in Natural, Social, & Economic Systems) is being developed with the help of a cadre of scientists, economists, researchers, and built environment professionals, to lead the green building industry beyond sustainable design, and to regenerative, living systems.
Emerging Green Builders Partnership

State University to promote sustainable design.
